Provide flexible opportunities for post-compulsory education
Expanded study options and learning pathways through extended and broadened curriculum options for students through both ATAR and non-ATAR pathways.
Foster a stimulating, blended, adult learning environment providing faster completion of studies through curriculum links and credit transfer.
Identify, improve and recommend priorities for cross-sectoral sharing of existing educational and operational resources and develop new programs that utilise existing resources within the Precinct.
Professional development programs expanded to include multi-sectoral opportunities and implement innovative strategies that develop the role of the Precinct as a centre for professional excellence in education.
Develop collaborative models for innovative post-secondary education
Existing articulation arrangements within the Precinct are identified and mapped.
Identify and recommend strategies to support cross-sectoral Precinct education programs, local agreements, articulation and accreditation.
Valuable links to the community, industrial and corporate partnerships are developed and Commonwealth funds are identified and accessed.
Future Precinct priorities are identified and recommended.
Promote the Precinct as a community of educational excellence
Agree on the key messages to inform marketing and media strategy.
Develop a joint marketing and media strategy.
Position the Precinct as a exemplar in driving educational reform.
Develop a grant writing strategy.
Explore and implement collaborative research initiatives that will enhance the positioning of the Precinct
Identify potential research priorities and existing support data.
Research literacy and numeracy provision across all parties.
Research viable pathways between School/TAFE/University.
Access research funds.
Maintain and further develop Precinct facilities in support of enhanced student experience.
Establish budget and related protocols for the Operations Committee.
The Assets Management and Operations Committee to establish a list of essential items to inform a budget.
Determine the future of site facilities such as the pool, gym, and child care centre.
Involve students in data gathering and decision making about what they would see as enhancing their experience.
Other agreed activities that contribute to success and profile of Precinct
Have this objective as a Precinct Board standing agenda item.
Host activities to physically bring people onto the site such as Education Expos and Open Days.
Work with local media on a regular basis to promote the Precinct in general and specific parties on a rotational basis.
Each partner to determine their priority list for future direction of the Precinct.
Facilitate collaborative practices such as staff education forum and library joint membership.
